Bodyci app privacy policy
Your learning. Your data.
No account, ads, or tracking
Bodyci does not ask for a name, email, or account to play. The app contains no advertising or third-party analytics. The developer does not receive your gameplay or heart-rate readings through the app.
Optional Apple Watch readings
With your permission, Bodyci Watch reads live heart rate during a monitoring session. Readings are sent to your chosen iPhone or iPad to drive optional in-game assistance. Direct Watch-to-iPad readings and replies are encrypted using the saved pairing key. The iPhone-to-iPad sharing option uses an encrypted local connection.
No heart-rate history
Bodyci keeps only the current readings needed for the session in memory. It does not save a heart-rate history or upload readings to a developer server. Monitoring uses an Apple Watch workout session, which Bodyci discards rather than saving as a workout. Apple Health and watchOS may separately maintain their own data under your device settings.
Saved on your device
Sound preferences, assistance settings, and learning totals are stored locally. Learning totals include puzzles attempted, correct answers, and duels completed or won—not health data. These preferences may be included in your device backups. Progress does not automatically sync between iPhone and iPad.
Connection details
Your saved iPad connection and secret pairing key are stored in Keychain. Keychain entries may survive deleting and reinstalling the app. QR codes contain pairing credentials: only scan your own code with your paired iPhone, and do not share it.
You stay in control
Stop monitoring on Apple Watch whenever you want. Change Health permissions in your device’s Health or Privacy settings. Remove a saved connection in Watch setup → Connection help → Troubleshooting → Forget Watch, and in the Watch app’s iPad Connection settings. Reset learning totals from Settings → Reset learning progress.
For families
Ask a parent or guardian to help with Watch setup and permissions. You can use Math Duel and Learning without Apple Watch. Simulated BPM is a game mechanic, not a measurement. Bodyci is an educational game, not a medical device or a tool for diagnosing stress or health conditions.
